Bring a breathtaking scene to life with this Merejka counted cross-stitch kit Enchanted Pond, a graceful white swan gliding across calm water framed by golden and violet irises and trailing willow branches. Stitched on Zweigart 16-count ice blue Aida fabric with premium DMC threads in 41 carefully matched shades, the design showcases Merejka's photorealistic style in soft blues, yellows, and violets.
Why this kit: the ice blue fabric tint adds natural atmosphere to the water and sky without extra stitching; two chart versions, with and without backstitch, let stitchers choose their preferred level of feather and petal detail; the layered iris foreground and swan focal point give the design real visual depth for a rewarding stitching challenge.
Kit includes: Zweigart canvas, DMC threads, John James needles, and a colour chart.
Counted cross-stitch is worked by following the printed color chart and placing each stitch on the gridded Aida fabric with the indicated DMC thread shade. The optional backstitch chart sharpens the swan's feathers and the iris petal edges. Work section by section until the design is complete, then frame as a generous piece of scenic wall art.
Finished size: 28x34 cm (11.02x13.39 in), a generous artwork that looks stunning when framed. An excellent project for experienced stitchers who appreciate the detail and depth of Merejka's scenic designs.
