About This Product

With a canvas base woven from our RugCycled yarns mixed with undyed natural yarn, this cotton rug in natural color combines rows of different pile heights, giving a subtle structure to the surface. Decorated at the borders with two contrasted color lines in Linen and Rose, followed by a thin embroidered line on top of the bare canvas, the rug is finished with small tassels at the corners.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
