The egg is made based on the Swan egg - a jewelry egg, one of the fifty-two imperial Easter eggs made by the company of Karl Faberge for the Russian imperial family. The egg was created in 1906 by order of Nicholas II, who gifted it to his mother Maria Feodorovna as a traditional gift for Easter in 1906.
The original jewelry egg is currently owned by the Edouard and Maurice Sandoz Foundation in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Our jewerly egg is covered with blue enamel. In the middle the egg contains a surprise - another box with a swan on the lid.
Material: A metal alloy that is durable and environmentally friendly. The casting of the egg is carried out using the old wax method. The main background of the egg is applied and the details are decorated by hand with cold, colored enamel. The enamel retains its color and gloss for many years. The egg will remain in its original form for decades.
Depending on the model, an egg is manually decorated with high-quality sparkling rhinestones and artificial pearls.
