Schumacher x Mary McDonald Royal Silk Embroidery Trim

This elegant multi-colored tape features mythical sea creatures, exotic flora, and fanciful birds, each painstakingly hand-stitched using hand-dyed yarns on the fine silk-linen ground. A tour de force of artistry and handwork, royal silk embroidery trim adds a lighthearted, luxe detail to pillows, upholstery, and window treatments. Inspired by our iconic royal silk embroidery, a showstopping fabric, this lavish design derives from a gown worn by Queen Elizabeth I in a 1599 portrait painted by Nicholas Hilliard.
