• The image that we have here however, presents the god in one of his most historically significant and truly recognizable forms, as Vishnu has manifested himself when part of the Trimurti. Two of his most common attributes are seen held in his hands he holds the conch shell, or shankha called Panchajanya named so after the demon that lived in it, who Vishnu as Purushottama defeated in the Mahabharata and the war discus sudarshana chakra, which is his fearsome weapon used to restore balance and dharma.
