Just as there’s something arresting about a wall of shelves bursting with books, there’s something quite dramatic about a solitary shelf sparsely decorated with a single or small handful of items. And when it comes to this floating shelf, there’s plenty of drama in the single-tier shelving that cuts into the semi-circle metal design. A geometric track runs the perimeter of the piece, adding visual interest while framing up special items. A frame of great-grandparents, the spiky palms of a tropical plant, or some other gem collected on a far-off adventure—no matter what this shelf holds, it’ll be sure to command guests’ attention and recall special memories.
