About This Product

Turn your single Greenes Fence composting bin (sold separately) into a complete composting system with our add-on composting kit. After the materials in your original composting bin begin to break down, move them to an attached add-on bin and start fresh with new materials in the first bin. A system of one green composting bin and two add-on kits will keep your composting process moving seamlessly. Proudly made in the US from solid North American cedar. Composed of 2 posts, 21 boards, and 36 spacers, this kit assembles with only a rubber mallet.

Features

Made from smooth, sanded 3/4" thick North American cedar boards
Easy to set up: Greenes Fence cedar composter add-on kits use dovetail interlocking joints, which makes assembly a breeze. Each board slides into the corner posts to form a secure open-bottom frame.
Easily expandable: composters can be connected to create the design you need. Corner posts are routed on all four sides for easy assembly and expansion.
Longevity: cedar is resistant to rot and insects, making it the perfect choice for your garden. Left organic, the wood will weather nicely to a silver-gray color over time. To preserve the wood apply a seal or stain of your choice.
Sustainably sourced and safe: cedar is harvested from managed forests. Naturally, rot- and insect-resistant, chemical-free cedar is safe and earth-friendly.
Max airflow: the open design provides airflow to help rotate waste regularly

Customers say

Customers find the product easy to assemble and appreciate its attractive appearance. The durability is generally viewed positively, with many units holding up well over time. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the value, noting that the add-on kits require purchasing multiple units to form a complete bin and that the price may be high for the quality received. There are also mixed opinions on durability, with some units not holding up as expected.
