Betwixt

This embroidered textile starts with a beautiful, finely textured linen/cotton ground cloth. Two colors are then used to print and set the pattern, an engaging arrangement of abstract shapes. Lastly, hand placed chainstitch embroidery emphasizes every intersection of form and color. The result is a dynamic, multipurpose work of art that encourages the eye to linger.
