Handmade Ghana Natural Floor Bin

From Field to Living Room Skilled Ghanaian weavers gather elephant grass, soak, twist, and coil it into an extra-large cylinder that stands firm on the floor without sagging. Subtle, naturally dyed stripes break up the neutral base, while tight rows give the bin the strength to hold bulky blankets or a mountain of plush toys. Fair-trade wages keep traditional craft alive and channel steady income back to rural communities. Tip: The faint grassy scent fades in a few days—proof you’re getting an untreated, all-natural fiber basket.
