I purchased my shed in October. Unfortunately with the weather change I could not have it assembled until early April, come to find out the included T lock is defective and does not lock the shed. Because I am past the 30 day product window, I am told there is no resolve from company, so I have to purchase a lock to replace and have handyman return. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. This is a great shed! As a 5’2 woman with a 5’8 hubs, it does feel a little short height wise but perfect for us. We did decide to run 1x4’s around the middle to give the walls some extra support. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Took me about 1 day to put together with some assistance from my son. Recommend about 3 people. My advice would be to pay very close attention to instructions. One mishap can throw assembly into chaos. Bring your power tools and drill. I had to drill for couple of misplaced holes. I had to build elevated wood foundation so keep that in mind. Keep your screws in the bag they came in...mines were all over the place. Lower your expectations. This is not a solid wood shed with more sturdy material. I had to add weather strip to the doors (large gap in between). Other than that Im not too disappointed. Putting together is just a tedious process. Take your time and go step by step. We unfortunately have not been able to assemble our storage shed yet solely due to the weather in Ohio at the moment. BUT I can say that this shipped FAST I was absolutely not expecting that for such a large item. I took off one star solely because assembling this is more than likely going to be tedious annoying since there are approximately 900 bazillion pieces. It is very heavy and will require a dolly to avoid any back strain if you are ripe and old like myself at age 31. The siding and materials that we have unpacked seem like heavy duty quality and not flimsy which is wonderful! Will definitely update my review once the weather clears up and we can put it together!. Cute and easy to assemble little shed. I bought because I needed something small to place on my deck for those outdoor tools and items that seem to accumulate during the changing seasons. I took measurements and then errored on the cautious side a little too much. Turned out to be smaller than expected but kept because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning. I’ve read other reviews about the wood being soft and they weren’t wrong. Wood mars easily, a fingernail can mark it. Overall I got what I paid for. Again, it’s cute, and for the most part is storing what it can and pretty sturdy. Time will dictate how long it will last. This is a really nice storage cabinet. The size is perfect and the colors look great, which was a big plus for us. Putting it together definitely takes two people, and some of the instructions were a little confusing. It did come with extra screws, which was nice and helped just in case. It felt a bit flimsy on its own so you want to use the ground spikes. It comes with once those are in. It is actually very very stable. It does exactly what we needed it to do. The shed is very good. It definitely takes two people three would be better to put it together to hold the panels up in place and to get everything where it’s supposed to be and just a word of warning. Make sure that you anchor it to a wall or it will blow over. I had this shed tucked into a corner right up against house. I cannot believe that when got in there, but it blew it over and it was full of yard things it was a mess. I had to pull everything out of the bottom, which is open and anchor it into the wall, so don’t make the mistake like I did and think that just because it’s full, the weight is gonna keep it up in a high wind because it will not. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: you must attach this to your house. i did not attach it to my house even though i had it tucked in a small space right up against the house with the chimney to one side. i thought it was secure because the whole thing is also in an enclosed fenced yard and didn't think the wind would get behind it at all. . that being said it blew over one evening when it was TOTALLY FILLED! What a mess. i had to pull everything out of the bottom and get 2x people to stand it up. the back popped open and one of the panels got damaged. all and all it was ok but we now attached it to the house. so don't make my mistake and think all the weight you have in it will keep it from blowing over..it will not. even in an enclosed area.. As advertised. Some say the shed is smaller than 6.0x4.4. If you measure from the eves it is exactly 6.0x4.4. Inside dimensions are 5.6x4.0. Easy to build. Good directions. Not much more than building a large cat tree or large entertainment center. Directions says 3 people needed to build. That refers to those who do not know the difference between a man and a women. One MAN can put together by themselves. Took 8.5 hours to build. I would advise a different order to build. First build the doors, then the roof, then the base. After that start to build the shed. Built by myself (a woman) in less than 6 hours while also caring for my toddler and puppy. Only one thing left to go that will require two people. The nuts and bolts that will help hold the side sheets together needs one person on the inside and one on the outside. The screws are incredibly short and don’t hold themselves well at the start of the project so they strip the holes easily. Instructions don’t have words so it’s easy to put a piece on backwards and have to go back and redo it several times. All in all, I would purchase again. You can’t expect perfection at this price.. The shed is really nice and big. I took the guy three days to put it together, but he also didn’t spend the entire day on it. It has sliding doors and you’re able to put a lock on it. Great quality for the price. Did job by myself, couple weeks after surgery. So lifting and job itself wasnt bad. Some spots require 2 people to tighten though. Shed is not 8x6. Actual is 88x63.
