Each rug is crafted from a blend of bamboo silk and wool, hand-tufted to create a dense, structured pile with lasting durability. Subtle variations in pile height introduce texture and dimension, creating a shifting surface that responds to light and movement. Hand Knotted Silk Rugs are second to none when it comes to quality. Silk fibers are much thinner allowing our weavers to maximum the knots per square inch in a rug. This will escalate the labor as well as material in the rug. These traits along with the cost of silk make hand knotted silk rugs some of the most expensive rugs in the world.

This product has an especially fine loop-and-pile texture. Their stylish serene colorations put a unique twist on a popular, classic casual motif.

Beautiful, soft and heavy. This rug is lovely. I do agree with other commenters that it leans more towards a grey-greenish blue, but is amazing none-the-less. Do beware that being that this rug is part silk it is not the easiest thing to clean. Just the nature of the fabric. I would not recommend it for super high traffic areas or if you have pets/kids that are potty-training and/or messy (personal experience, thank goodness for large pieces of furniture to hide stains)..
