This jute rug has a casual charm that does a good job of holding up to sandy feet and paws in your coastal home. It's hand-braided in India from 100% natural jute in a warm earthy beige with tassels at either end. What's more, its low, 0.02'' pile height is easy to keep clean (just lose the beater bar on your vacuum) and doesn't impede doors from opening or closing. This rug is available in a range of sizes, so you're sure to find one that's right for your space. We recommend rolling it out over a pad to prevent shifting.

It had a weird almost plastic like smell when unboxing which shouldn't be a surprise since it's polyester. However, $106 for an 8'x10' rug thats pretty soft and doesn't shed is a deal in my opinion. Big rugs are not cheap in general.. Maregine. Portland, OR. Tue Jul 21 2026

I got this rug for my toddler’s room and love it. It’s thick but not bulky, and vacuums nicely without tons of shedding (there was some shedding the first time). It is soft to walk and play on. The colors are bright enough to notice but muted enough to not be an “in your face” type palette. I’d buy it in another color for another space if it was an option!. Dana. TX. Fri Dec 27 2024

Beautiful rug. The weight is just right and the fell is fantastic. I love the wool/cotton blend, and at this price point I think it's a great value. The images on Wayfair looked a little more blue than the actual rug. I found it to contain more Sage than Blue overall. Works great in my room, and will look even better when the room is painted. I added a photo next to a blue couch and one laid in the living room.. Jon. Arlington, VA. Tue Sep 29 2026

Beautiful rug! Liked it so much, bought a second rug for another room.. Alyson. Denver, CO. Mon Jun 16 2025

I absolutely love the rug. Think of stiff bubble wrap and that will give you an idea of the texture. It feels soft under your feet and solid so it’s not puffy and easy to vacuum. It has been 3 weeks and it sheds a tremendous amount. Be aware there are some defects in the rug. I went through 2 of them because the first one had very visible issues with the stitching. The 2nd one I decided to live with because I do love the look and feel. It is shipped flat and not rolled so getting the seams out took a steamer and some time. Overall a 5 star rug though.. Gary. Smyrna, GA. Fri Sep 25 2026

Understated yet full of character, the Lahjar Rug is a beautifully minimalist piece with solid hues accented by delicate speckling for just the right touch of visual interest. This indoor shag area rug rolls out a textured foundation and a traditional look on your floors. It's power-loomed from polypropylene, so it stands up to spills, splashes, and everyday wear, and it has a light ivory hue for a classic feel. We love how it's plush 1.5" pile height is just right for adding cushioned support in low-traffic spots like your bedroom or nursery. Plus, it comes with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Love this rug! Lays really nice & is so pretty & durable. The rubber backing makes a solid surface too.. Sharon. Albany, OR. Sun Apr 23 2023

The rug itself is great. But the packaging was horrible. One end of the rolled up rug was exposed as the plastic was torn during shipping and the fabric band got very dirty and torn. I tried to clean it as best as I can but the tear really bothers me.. Deanna. New York, NY. Sun May 17 2026

Good quality and accurate size. Pile is just right to make cozy for my son's room. Michael. Newport News, VA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Really beautiful rug that's soft on the feet. It does not have a stiff backing so it can bunch a little if there's no nonslip pad underneath. I just got it and have not seen the shedding others talked about, but it is interesting in that from the long side, you can clearly see cream and tan stripes, but from the short side, it looks the same.. Beth. Studio City, CA. Thu Jun 18 2026
