Overall I am very happy with this rug. But be warned that the color is very different than pictured. In daylight, it is more of a graygreen and darker than photos. A lovely design just right for our comfortable, busy kitchen! the 2' x 6' size covers the floor in front of our sink and dishwasher, catching small drips of water and remaining comfortable under foot. Its very low profile helps avoid stumbles and its rubbery backing keeps it from slipping (although it can gradually move slightly out of place). But because the mat is so thin, it is definitely not for those who want a cushioned mat or rug. I appreciate the quality of "made in the USA" as well as the fact that it can washed.. Kathryn. It's a lovely, very comfortable "rug". The only drawback for me is the width - wide would be better for my galley kitchen, but 2 side by side wouldn't work, hence 4 stars instead of 5.. Susan. Vancouver, BC. Mon Oct 05 2026

Good weight, exactly what I needed.. Lee. Thu Apr 23 2026

This mat is fine, but it’s not exactly what I was looking for. It has the extra width which is a priority for me, but I don’t really care for the textured top. That’s on me though as it wasn’t something I could be sure of from the online photos. I also needed it to be thicker like other mats I’ve had, but it falls just a tad short there. On the plus side it has a good solid heft to it and it lays flat. Will probably want to anchor it to the floor with those double-sided sticky corner adhesives because I have to have it aligned with the tile at all times (it’s a Virgo thing) and any mat you buy is going to shift a little. You won’t need the sticky corners if you don’t mind adjusting it a bit periodically. All in all you’re getting good value for the price.. Samantha. Chepachet, RI. Tue Jul 21 2026
