This stunning design features patchworked strips of hair on hide leather hand crafted into a modern pattern atop a solid, woven viscose foundation making each piece truly unique. The hand carved detail on the low pile add a high/low visual depth helping to highlight the mixed materials and the piece is then perfectly finished with a canvas backing. We recommend a rug pad (sold separately) for additional cushioning, stability and for extra protection for both the rug and floor.

The collection shows how urbane “rustic” 100%-natural hair-on hides can be. The natural variations of the hides add warmth and depth to the geometric motifs and give each rug a beauty of its own. The rugs include felt backing for extra durability; a rug pad is recommended, however, to help prevent slipping.

This indoor area rug taps into two of our favorite trends – neutral, grayscale design and geometric patterns – for a muted, relaxed palette on your floors. It's handwoven from a stain-resistant blend of leather and wool, and it features a pattern with interlocking diamonds in various gray tones that look a little like a maze. A low, 0.13'' pile height makes this rug great for high-traffic locations or hallways. Even with a backing, we think rolling it out over a rug pad is a smart idea.

It blended well with my light colored flooring. Dom. Newark, DE. Thu Sep 24 2026

I love it in my office as you walk into the house. It is thin but when you are in it, it’s warm! my floors are cold in the house and I’m good if my feet are on it without anything under. I love the pattern and design of the cowhide. I love the colors it adds as I keep everything neutral. It’s not as dark in person as in the picture it came out. Came in great condition and easy to vacuum. I was scared because I have a big dog that sheds a lot and like to stretch paws on the carpets but it’s been holding up well for a month now.. Olga. Bolton. Mon Feb 01 2021

Love! The leather rugs I have purchased have been really eye catching and add nice texture to the space. Have bought several different kinds I liked so much.. Robin. Columbus, IN. Tue May 19 2026

When it comes to lending a soft touch to your hardwood or tile floors, nothing beats a rug, especially a rug made from recycled material. Since they can lend a decorative touch at the same time it's great for adding a touch of texture and a splash of seaside style to your ensemble.

This rug is exactly what my living room space needed. It arrived with a slight stain on the black, leather part of the rug; however, it was fairly easy to remove with a lysol wipe. The weaving is tight and well constructed, which will likely make it difficult to clean off stains, crumbs, or any spills that may occur. This would not be suitable for someone with small children or pets. It is as pictured and is beautiful! Definitely worth the price.. Chante. Las Vegas, NV. Sun Nov 26 2023

Love this rug! I debated getting it for quite a while, wasn’t sure what it would look like. Semi-final verdict texture in the pattern and hide material really work. The color is ivory, with some variations as to be expected. Works well with browns. My decor is eclectic, a combination of antiques and modern and this really works. It did arrive with a stain and was wet from the inside (the cardboard tube was wet, not the outer wrapping), so it’s not lying fully flat and had a stain. Wayfair customer service rocks, they as sending a replacement, I will post pictures with the final verdict once that arrives. I anticipate it will be even better than it is now!. Rower Girl. North Carolina. Mon Feb 24 2020

This Hand Woven Rug Features Rescued Leather.

Love the color(chocolate) and feel of this rug. Laid flat as soon as I put it down. I have it an area that will get low traffic. Not sure how it would hold up in a high traffic area.. Jennifer. Fayetteville, TN. Fri Oct 25 2019
