It comes in a variety of colors and shapes to choose from that best suit your taste and style. Its looped design is made in India from wool, and it has a cotton backing. Plus, its low pile height is great for placing in spots with high foot traffic like the kitchen or entryway, and where furry friends and little ones might run around. Add color and texture to your home with this Squiggle Strip Pink Size 2.8X4.8

Pictorial hand hooked rugs have a long history in American and European domestic craft and this vintage example in mint condition brings that tradition to life with a sky blue field framed by a wide ivory border populated with a lively procession of ladybugs bumblebees beetles and butterflies in red yellow green and orange interspersed with small floral forms in pink and blue that fill the border with a playful garden-inspired theme running continuously around all four sides. A handful of the same insect motifs are scattered across the open blue field as well which ties the border and interior together without overcrowding the central space. The palette is bright and confident with the multicolor insect work sitting naturally against the cream border and the soft blue field in a way that feels cohesive despite the range of colors involved. Never used and in mint condition the wool pile vintage rug retains its original texture and color throughout with only glue residue on the underside from previous mounting that does not affect the top surface in any way.Story Behind the Art: Hand-hooked rugs are created by pulling loops of yarn through a fabric backing using a specialized hook tool forming a textured surface. Known for their durability and distinct appearance hand-hooked rugs can feature intricate patterns and designs often ranging from traditional to contemporary styles. Typically made from wool cotton or synthetic fibers these rugs provide a soft plush feel and are available in various shapes and sizes. The raised texture adds dimension and tactile appeal making hand-hooked rugs a timeless and functional addition to any interior.
