Entryway Hooked Area Rugs

This Oriental rug features intricate floral motifs, a distinctive border, and faded ivory and red hues that bring a traditional feel to any room. A hand-hooked technique is used to weave the wool threads together, and its 0.38" pile height provides ample cushioning underfoot in living rooms, entryways, and dining areas. The quality is wonderful. I’m sure it’s going to shed a bit given that it’s wool, the only thing I would say is that the colors are a bit different than this picture shows.. Luckily it’s still matches.. Mary Beth. Portland, OR. Sat Sep 05 2026

This Oriental area rug brings a boho-inspired look to your living room or bedroom. Hand-hooked from wool, it features a botanical pattern with blooming flowers and delicate vines that add depth to your space. The design includes a subtle border for a tailored finish on your floors. It's crafted with a medium pile that offers cushioning underfoot while staying easy to vacuum. The canvas backing provides additional structure to the handmade form. Plus, it has a purposeful fade for a lived-in feel. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

The rug is lovely and the colors add some brightness to a too monotone colored room. I like the loop style texture over a thick oriental area rug. It has a nice wide back edge finishing which was what I was looking for. I am hoping that the heavy weight of this rug will prevent it from walking on the old carpet that needs to be replaced some day. I like that the green-ish background has different tones to it. I am not sure I would call it turquoise and beige but I am happy with my decision. I am hoping that for the price it is a rug that will last many years.. Bernadette. Clinton Township, MI. Really nice quality wool rug. It is a nice thickness, laid pretty much flat almost immediately. it is more muted olive tones - not a vibrant green like my computer screen showed. This is a very heavy rug that works well with many different neutral wall colors. It laid out nicely after two days and had no strong odor some new rugs have. We have one in the foyer and one in the adjoining dining room, and both look great. One word of caution- if you have pets that have accidents, this is not the rug for you. Our rescue did her business on it and it took two days of urine-destroying enzymes along with steam cleaning to get the stain out.. Jerry. West Bend, WI. Sun Apr 19 2026

Overall, I like it. The pattern is pretty. In some parts of the rug the reds are a bit TOO lightbright. For some reason I thought it’d be more burgundy. Would have been much nicer had it been thicker too. I learned that 0.25 is not enough for me. But the rug is nice enough that I’ll get a rug pad. Would have been 5 starts if it had been thicker..
