The result is a rug that anchors a room with quiet authority, whether placed in a modern loft, a moody study, or a high-contrast contemporary living space. Available in both rectangular and round silhouettes, making it as versatile as it is striking. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug firmly in place on any flooring surface.

The Tikkul Ivory is the purest expression of the Tikkul patchwork collection — a serene, all-ivory hairon leather rug with no metallic finish, just the natural warmth and quiet texture of genuine cowhide. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% hairon leather, its mosaic construction creates a barely-there grid pattern that adds subtle dimension without disrupting the calm, monochromatic palette. The result is a rug that disappears into a space in the best possible way, lending softness, warmth, and a sense of refined luxury to any room it anchors. Ideal for bright, airy interiors — Scandinavian, coastal, transitional, or minimalist — where you want the texture of real leather without the visual weight of color or shine. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place.

The Tikkul Lt Grey is a refined hairon leather patchwork rug that brings understated luxury to any interior. Crafted entirely from 100% genuine hairon cowhide, each piece is assembled by hand in India from small, uniform leather squares — creating a mosaic-like surface in a seamless palette of cool silvers, warm taupes, and soft whites. The result is a tone-on-tone texture that reads as both organic and architectural, equally at home in a modern living room, a transitional bedroom, or a sophisticated office. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place, while the natural hairon surface is inherently durable and simple to maintain — just shake or spot-clean as needed.

The Oleada is a striking yet free flowing, soft geometric pattern, creating a laid back elegance. Our new lab dipped muted colours for this style inspired by desert succulents and shimmering pools. We have created the Oleada in a stunning oval shape, but ofcourse it can be made in classic rectangles or circles. The Oleada would also work well in many of Art Hide’s other proprietary shades, such as midnight blue or Forrest green.

This dyed cowhide rug can be used to accent any room.

I love this rug!!! Although I wouldn’t call it a rug because it’s extremely lightweight. The color is a very deep and rich red. I actually ended up cutting the rug with the same symmetry to make it a bit smaller. I use simple cutting shears so that can give you an idea of the thickness. It is definitely an eyecatcher walking into my foyer area.. Ms V. Upper Marlboro, MD. Sat Oct 10 2020
