It's hand-woven from cowhide, offering a unique tactile experience while remaining a practical choice for your space. The design showcases interlocking diamonds that create a maze-like pattern, adding depth to the room without being a distraction. I purchased 5x8 size. Great quality! Looks high-end. The color palette of this rug is warm tones, not cool tones. Note for reference, the pictures included in this review the chairs have warm toned wood and ivory colored upholstery, and floors are a neutral grey tone. Rug lays flat except for the one edge that was rolled the smallest, but you can put heavy books around edge for two days and it will flatten out. I did not use a rug pad or anti-skid pad since it seems to remain in place with the table and chairs on top of the rug.. Deb. CA. Sun Sep 29 2024

The Tikkul Ivory is the purest expression of the Tikkul patchwork collection — a serene, all-ivory hairon leather rug with no metallic finish, just the natural warmth and quiet texture of genuine cowhide. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% hairon leather, its mosaic construction creates a barely-there grid pattern that adds subtle dimension without disrupting the calm, monochromatic palette. The result is a rug that disappears into a space in the best possible way, lending softness, warmth, and a sense of refined luxury to any room it anchors. Ideal for bright, airy interiors — Scandinavian, coastal, transitional, or minimalist — where you want the texture of real leather without the visual weight of color or shine. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place.
