I ordered the Ailine Maroon color, and even though the color on the website lighting makes it appear more red wine/burgundy colored, in person, in daylight, the color presents more like a reddish plum and the thread around the perimeter is more brown than maroon. Fortunately, it still goes with the rose-colored fabric of the chair I ordered, which presents as more of a mauve, so the two items still coordinate well together without matching! I got lucky. It's super thin, but since it's going in a sitting room off of my kitchen, I won't need a rug pad. It's very soft! It's a white polyester soft fuzzy fabric, that has a print sublimated over the top of the fabric, so if you run your finger over it and look closely you can tell the design is only on top of the rug and it's not a woven wool rug, but it's not apparent if not looking closely. Way less money than a wool rug would be, too, and easily machine washable, so it has its benefits. I'd definitely buy this rug again, and it fits all my needs and expectations as to the style and quality of rug I was hoping to receive for the price. For comparison, the difference in color between the online shots vs. the color of it under the daylight in my home next to the mauve chair it will soon be under.. Ss. Chicagoland. Tue Sep 01 2026

This rug features traditional and transitional designs in rich vibrant tones. Bright hues give this rug an edge making them a standout piece for any room. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors. Turn carpet occasionally to equalize wear. Clean spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Love it !. Gale. US. Thu Jun 18 2026

Maple2 brings deep aubergine, soft rose and warm ivory together in one calm, classic design. The old-world pattern is faded back into a single rich tone, so it feels timeless without taking over the room. Put it under the coffee table, beside the bed, or down a long hallway, and the whole space looks finished. It works with wood floors, tile, dark furniture and light walls alike. The 6mm low pile slides under doors without catching, which makes it easy to place in doorways and busy walkways. Life with it is simple. When it needs a refresh, put it in the washing machine and it comes out clean. It does not shed, does not fuzz and leaves no dust or loose fibres on your floor, so there is less to sweep up. The surface is soft under bare feet, the backing grips so the rug stays put, and the overlocked edge keeps the border neat day after day. Kids and pets are welcome on it.

Wool and viscose are cleverly combined to create this contemporary hand-knotted line. Design elements are predominantly floral but always beautiful in subtly neutral color palettes.
