I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. LOOOOOOVE! This rug is amazing. It’s super soft and comfy to sit on. We have a toddler so we’re on the ground a lot and this rug has made it easier for play time. We didn’t add a rug pad, and I don’t think it needs one. I was worried that the Ivory would be too bright of a white or too creamy of a yellow and it’s neither. It’s just right for our home. Paired next to a grey couch and dark wood coffee table so help you see better. It didn’t shed at all and laid flat pretty quickly. definitely has a new rug smell but it’s more of just a plasticy smell and it wore off within about 3 days. My family didn’t notice the smell but I have a sharper sense of smell so just for reference. It’s handled stains really well (with Folex, if you don’t have it - get it). Chocolate ice cream has been spilled and red marker and both came up and is unnoticeable surprisingly. It vacuums fine, but use your high carpet setting or low on a Dyson (not boost). I purchased this rug for my personal office space- it looked very plus and good on the feet. To my surprise, it is in fact comfy, and a decent size for my desk space. Setup was straightforward, just had to cut the plastic wrap and unravel. For the price, I cant complain, the color is great, and adds some character to the room. The only issue I experienced is that since my desk area is somewhat big and by having a rolling chair, sometimes I fall out of the rug area and the wheel can pull up the rug when trying to get back without lofting. Haven’t used this one yet because I’m waiting for them to paint the house ( supposed to be fine in May but they are starting tomorrow). I have ordered these before and they lasted 6 years outdoors uncovers in Florida heat. A power washer sprayed them with 45 bleach mixture and they didn’t like that.
