Made with a soft 100% polyester surface, this heathered rug brings understated style to living rooms, bedrooms, and offices. A black base blends with charcoal-gray shading and fine lighter streaks, creating a textured appearance rather than a uniform jet-black finish. The overall color may appear more gray depending on lighting and viewing angle. Its thin, flexible construction and low 0.17-inch pile fit easily beneath furniture. Non-slip backing helps reduce shifting on clean, dry floors; a rug pad may provide additional cushioning and stability where needed. Machine wash according to the care instructions or spot clean for everyday upkeep. The rug arrives folded in a compact box, and visible fold lines may gradually ease with use.

I took a close-up of the pile so you can see what solid heathered black looks like. In my opinion, its a bit more gray than black. I do like that it has a pretty nice non-slip grip backing and that its soft to walk on. I also like that the description said its machine washable. The description on the website said that the creases will come out if you roll it up or over time as you walk on it, so I hope those creases work their way out, because at the moment it doesnt look the greatest.. They may appear less fluffy and have creases upon arrival. Lay flat for 3-5 days to restore their full fluffiness.

I got the 8x10 pink plush and it is so adorable, the non slip backing is very good if you are looking for something with cushion this is not it but if you just want something cute for the room it will do. One side does look a little thinner than the other but I will get a brush to try to fluff it out.. Robin. Birmingham, AL. Sat Sep 26 2026

This area rug blends subtle color and an industrial feel in your living room or den. Its mottled wash of rust and aqua hues lend an organic look to your space, while its distressed touch adds a lived-in vibe. Power-loomed from 100% polyester, it's made with a low pile height that's just right for high-traffic areas, where it won't trip up your feet or your vacuum. Plus, it's stain-resistant, so it holds up in busy homes. Our favorite? It comes with a dotted latex backing for non-slip security on your floors.
