This Oriental area rug anchors your indoor floor with intricate, traditional detailing. Made from natural wool fibers, it offers a soft surface underfoot that softens daily steps across hard surfaces. The subtle fringe trims the ends for an added layer of vintage-inspired character. A sturdy backing helps the piece hold its shape over time while supporting regular foot traffic. Plus, the dense weave naturally absorbs sound to maintain a peaceful environment throughout your home.

Gorgeous! Thick and plush, and very similar colors. The only problem is a funky smell that hasn’t seemed to go away...hoping it airs out. Celeste. Los Gatos, CA. Mon Jun 10 2019

Really nice quality wool rug. It is a nice thickness, laid pretty much flat almost immediately. it is more muted olive tones - not a vibrant green like my computer screen showed. The Essential Lane runner brings a cool, understated that reads clean and modern against wood, tile, and stone floors. Woven in Turkiye from 100% polypropylene loop pile in quality, it stays honestly slim at about 0.2 in (5 mm) so it slides under doors and lies flat underfoot. A full-surface natural latex rubber backing grips the floor and keeps it in place without a rug pad, while overlocked edges give every cut a finished, no-fray border. Order it at the fixed 26 in width and choose any length from 10 ft up to 70 ft, so it is cut to fit an extra-long hallway, a compact entry, or a full staircase run as a stair runner. The low, dense loop is engineered to trap dirt and grit where people come in, then shrug off spills, pets, and everyday traffic without crushing or matting. Foldable and easy to move, it rolls up for cleaning or a seasonal swap.

There is a particular kind of quiet drama to this rug the kind that rewards a second look and then a third. Set against a deep slate-grey ground the entire field is alive with paired birds sprawling botanical forms and the warm punctuation of marigold gold threading through foliage beak and bloom. The composition is fully symmetrical: birds face each other across a central medallion of open sunflowers and tulip forms while a lower register shows two more birds heads dipped intent flanking a cluster of hanging fruit. Every corner of the field is filled yet nothing feels crowded. This is Morris's principle of horror vacui the fear of empty space executed with complete confidence. The multi-band border is a composition in its own right: a broad outer band of slate botanical scroll a gold vine inner guard and a fine running wave that frames the whole. Cream and ivory accents lift the foliage against the dark ground throughout. Worked in LoomBloom's loop-and-cut pile technique the contrast between the plush cut areas and the sheened loops gives the grey ground a subtle depth that shifts with light cooler in the morning warmer by lamp in the evening. The high-twist wool holds the fine detail of each bird and leaf with clarity and sheds significantly less than comparable hand-hooked pieces. Some designs were never meant to stay flat on a wall. William Morris spent his life drawing the natural world its tangled branches its bold blooms its birds caught mid-flight with a devotion that went far beyond decoration. At LoomBloom we asked a simple question: what happens when those designs come alive underfoot? The answer is this collection - Each rug begins with Morris's original botanical vocabulary the layered foliage the mirrored bird pairs the endlessly scrolling vines and translates it into hand-hooked wool using our loop-and-cut pile technique. Where Morris worked in ink and dye on flat cloth our artisans work in three dimensions varying the cut and loop across each design zone so that petals sit differently from leaves and stems read differently from grounds. The result is a surface with genuine depth one that shifts as light moves across it through the day. The collection spans seven colorways from a near-black garden dense with forest greens and coral roses to an airy antique-white field scattered with powder-blue birds and terracotta blooms. There is something here for every room- rooms that want drama and rooms that want calm. Innovative Loop & Cut Pile Technique - Unlike machine-tufted rugs where pile height is uniform and anonymous LoomBloom's artisans vary the loop-to-cut ratio across each design zone. Botanical fills carry uncut loops for a subtle gleam; flower heads are cut for softness; stem tracery alternates for dimensionality. The result is a surface that reads like a Morris original with depth shadow and light that shift as you move around the room.

For light cleaning, just pat the washable runner rug gently or wipe it with a towel with water; For medium cleaning, use a low-power vacuum cleaner; For deep cleaning, it is recommended to add detergent and then wash by hand

The lightest and most garden-fresh piece in the collection this rug feels like the first warm day of the year rendered in wool. Across a pale celadon and ivory ground the familiar bird-and-botanical composition unfolds with an ease and softness that sets it apart from every other colorway. The paired thrushes are here in warm marigold and soft coral their spotted plumage picked out in blush and rose against the pale field. A pair of large cream chrysanthemum blooms anchor the mid-field their full frilled heads almost luminous against the surrounding greenery. Above them birds flank a central tulip form; below a final pair lean toward hanging fruit in terracotta and rust grounding the composition with just enough warmth. The foliage is the quiet achievement of this piece. Rather than a single green the leaves and stems move across five or six distinct tones from pale celadon and sage through to deeper olive and forest giving the surface a genuine sense of growth and layering. Nothing is flat. The botanical forms read as if they are actually growing across the field one plane behind another. The border frames all of this in mid-tone sage and hunter green broad and confident with a fine coral-pink inner rule that separates it from the field with a single warm line. It gives the rug a structured finish without imposing on the gentle character of the interior. Worked in LoomBloom's loop-and-cut pile technique using high-twist wool the pale ground benefits particularly from the high-twist construction it holds its clarity and resists soiling better than a standard hand-hooked surface. It sheds significantly less than comparable pieces and brings a settled natural warmth to any room it enters. Some designs were never meant to stay flat on a wall. William Morris spent his life drawing the natural world its tangled branches its bold blooms its birds caught mid-flight with a devotion that went far beyond decoration. There is something unhurried about this rug the kind of piece that settles into a room rather than announcing itself. A warm ivory ground gives the whole design an airy almost watercolour quality across which paired thrushes sprawling botanical forms and fruit-laden branches unfold in full symmetry. The birds are rendered in soft terracotta and latte their spotted plumage picked out with gentle precision while the foliage spreads in layered chambray blue and cool aqua across the field. Blush peach and warm sand weave through the blooms and fruit clusters keeping the palette from reading as simply cool. The composition is fully symmetrical birds face each other across a central tulip medallion in the upper field while a lower register shows two more birds heads dipped toward a cluster of hanging fruit. Every corner is filled with botanical detail yet nothing feels crowded. Pattern without weight. The border shifts the mood just enough a deeper periwinkle-blue outer band grounds the composition and gives the rug its quiet authority while a fine running wave in cream provides the transition back to the ivory field. Worked in LoomBloom's loop-and-cut pile technique using high-twist wool the surface holds the fine line of each leaf and feather with clarity and sheds significantly less than comparable hand-hooked pieces. A rug that lives easily alongside natural linens whitewashed walls and rooms that breathe. Some designs were never meant to stay flat on a wall. Great need doo mat same color for outside. Anonymous. Fri Aug 14 2026

This handmade rug brings an earthy, tropical feel to your indoor or outdoor space. This rug features a sea turtle swimming among coral over a green and blue background. It's hand-hooked from a polypropylene and acrylic blend and features a latex backing to prevent it from sliding underfoot. Its 0.5" pile makes this rug ideal for medium and high-traffic areas like your entryway, sunroom, or front porch. Although this rug is weather-resistant and treated to prevent fading, we recommend limiting exposure to rain, moisture, and direct sunlight to help it look fresh longer.

Such a warm and whimsical addition to our newly remodeled laundry room! Fits the space perfectly, and the scene and colors bring a smile to my face in spite of the task at hand.. Lambee. Northern California. Fri Jun 26 2026

Warm generous and quietly commanding this rug is anchored by a large open lotus bloom at its centre drawn in layered peach and apricot tones that seem almost to glow against the soft ivory ground. From that central form curling vines and botanical scrolls radiate outward in every direction filling the field with an abundance of tulip heads carnation blooms and large acanthus leaves. The composition has the confident symmetry of a classical textile bilateral balanced yet never rigid. There is always another curl of vine another half-hidden blossom pulling the eye gently onward. The palette is built on warmth. Rust and terracotta carry the dominant floral forms ranging from deep brick red to soft coral depending on the bloom. Against this teal and aqua foliage and leaf forms provide the essential counterpoint cool and precise where the florals are warm and open. The ivory ground ties everything together giving the whole surface a luminous sun-warmed quality. The border mirrors the field in character the same scroll and bloom vocabulary continues without interruption framed by a fine teal outer edge that defines the rug cleanly against any floor. Field and border feel like one continuous garden rather than two separate elements. Worked in LoomBloom's loop-and-cut pile technique using high-twist wool the surface holds the flowing curves of each scroll and petal with exceptional clarity. It sheds significantly less than comparable hand-hooked pieces and settles beautifully into rooms with natural materials warm wood tones and earthy palettes. Some designs were never meant to stay flat on a wall. William Morris spent his life drawing the natural world its tangled branches its bold blooms its birds caught mid-flight with a devotion that went far beyond decoration. This is a rug that fills a room with light. Across a soft parchment and silver-grey ground an all-over botanical repeat unfolds without pause acanthus leaves open-faced blooms climbing vines and nodding floral heads layered so densely that the eye travels continuously finding new detail at every turn. There is no central medallion here no dominant focal point. The design simply breathes edge to edge in the unhurried rhythm of a walled garden in full growth. The palette is built around cornflower and periwinkle blue foliage clusters that anchor the composition balanced by warm terracotta and coral blooms scattered through the field like embers in the greenery. Sage and olive greens carry the stems and leaves while touches of blush pink and soft gold catch the eye in the quieter corners. The overall effect is cool but not cold a palette that shifts and warms depending on the light in the room. The border is intentionally understated: a narrow ivory frame with a delicate botanical frieze in the same muted tones wide enough to contain the field without competing with it. The rug's scale does the rest. Worked in LoomBloom's loop-and-cut pile technique using high-twist wool the dense all-over repeat is rendered with the clarity that only hand-hooking can achieve. It sheds significantly less than comparable pieces and holds its surface over years of daily use.
