The design is brilliant, but the execution of some key aspects is horrid. There is a piece of metal cut and shaped to cover the lip of the stair. The glue that is meant to adhere the fabric to the metal has already failed on most of the stairs, just sitting in the box. If these were installed as-is, they would create a dangerous trip hazard going up the stairs, as every step would be an opportunity to catch your foot. Will try velcro, but if I can't find a solution, will not use because I don't need stairs that attack me.. Bruce. Princeton, NJ. Thu Feb 05 2026

Very nice treads and very happy with them! Only one fell off and had to be reposition. Make sure your steps are deep enough because the bullnose section is not adjustable. It’s preformed beautiful stairs.. James. East Windsor, CT. Mon Aug 17 2026

Piece of junk. Poor quality and design. Don’t waste your money - particularly when purchasing thru Wayfair because you’ll have to pay for your return.. Michael. Bristow, VA. Sat Nov 16 2024

This Black Stair Tread is an elegant addition to any staircase. This tread is made using high-quality polypropylene, which ensures optimum sturdiness and durability. This braided tread has great texture water, and mildew resistance. This Black Stair Tread is reversible and suitable for outdoor as well as indoor use. It sports a stunning black color that is aesthetically appealing and can blend well with all types of color schemes.

I really like these. I have an open staircase that drops into my living room where there is a gray/white/dk blue rug and I wanted to bring a subtle purple into the mix. These are perfect for the job. If you put them next to blue, they appear more blue, but on their own, they have a purple tint to them.. K. New Orleans, LA. Tue May 03 2022

Rich, classic colors blend together in these traditional braided stair treads to create a warm and pleasant accent to any staircase.

The block grip rubber step mats are designed to add safety and security for both indoor and outdoor stairways. These rounded stair mats have a block-like surface texture that is inspired by the type of cobblestone streets you would see in the cities of Europe and Latin America. It is a simple but attractive design that gives these rubber step mats an adaptable visual appeal. They will look at home on residential, commercial and industrial stairways. The primary purpose of the block-patterned surface texture is to improve the grip on your feet while going up and down a set of stairs. It is imperative to have as much traction as possible on stairways because these tend to be the more dangerous and accident-prone areas of a building. In packs of 6, these rounded anti-slip stair treads have an extended 1" lip that provides for a more firm and stable placement on the steps. Due to the fact that they are made of natural and reclaimed rubbers, these stair treads can be placed in the outdoors exposed to harsh weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Nice and makes the step look nice. Leslie. Chesterfield, VA. Tue Sep 01 2020

Stair Tread Template Tool is designed and manufactured based on the core concept of allowing treadle installers to complete the delivery work conveniently and efficiently. In terms of material selection, we use stainless steel and aluminum alloy, and the surface is anodized. The biggest advantage of this is that it is durable and can prevent discoloration in humid or high temperature environments. Unlike wood, which is not conducive to long-term use, because it will expand and contract with changes in humidity, making the data inaccurate. In terms of design, it is specially made into an adjustable tread measuring fixture, and it is also equipped with 3 different sizes of tie rods. The purpose is to enable the treadle installer to quickly select the appropriate size and easily adjust the angle, length and height to meet any work requirements according to the actual situation, saving delivery time. It is simple and safe to use and operate. Use the 4x knob to safely lock it in place. If your stair treads are very long, you can use more knobs, which are easy to set and disassemble. While meeting the work needs of pedal installers, we have specially set its color to two shades of blue and red, which is truly practical and beautiful. Parts List: Scale Plate：2 pieces(stainless steel); A tie rod (16.9IN)：2 pieces(aluminum alloy); B tie rod (11.4IN)：2 pieces(aluminum alloy); C tie rod (8.0IN)：2 pieces(aluminum alloy); Washer：2 pieces(silica gel); M5 Screw：12 pieces(stainless steel); M5 Star Knob：12 pieces(bakelite)
