Beautiful! Very soft underfoot. Does not need a pad in the runner size but the 3x5 does move around without one. Yes the vaccuum picks up a lot of it but thats a wool rug for ya, no visible sheddingpilling. The color is a rose-rust with a lighter tan going through it. Hard to describe but it is very neutral. I love this 3x9 runner rug. My one complaint is that the rug is more of a rustburnt orange and looks nothing like the advertised photo. It looks like the color submitted in my review.
