A beautiful and functional mat. This is a welcome addition to our place. It has thoroughly improved the safety of our kitchen, as it has a non-skid backing and the height is low so it is not a trip hazard. It can also be easily negotiated with a wheelchair. The colors are true to the online photograph, a beautiful abstract blue and white pattern which totally works. The mat is made of quality material, easy to care for, even with pets who do not match the color palette. It is also machine washable. It is comfortable, easy on the feet and we like it. The bit that goes against the sink comes up a bit short, but it hides grout stains we cannot remove and have been looking at for too long. It is easy to clean and hides stains well if it has too. We are happy with our choice, love how it complements and adds to our décor. We haven’t had it very long, but we are a high traffic home and it looks brand new. It does not slide on our tile, even with a soaking wet floor, it does not curl up in the corners or catch anytuing, thereby creating a trip hazard as our previous mat did. With teenagers and pets in the house, durability and ease of cleaning are paramount in a floor covering. I am happy to say this mat meets and exceeds standards on all counts.
