It’s stayed white for over a month and has been very easy to keep clean, which was one of my biggest concerns. The only thing I can’t fully comment on is the washability. The listing says it fits in a standard washing machine, but I haven’t needed to wash it yet since it hasn’t gotten dirty. Looking at it, though, I have a hard time believing it would fit in a standard washer because this rug is huge! Hopefully I won’t need to find out anytime soon. We just love the vintage Medallion washable rug! It comes neatly folded in a box, you just unfold it and put t in place. Lays almost completely flat right away. The colors are beautiful and somewhat muted. Extremely soft to the touch. Very thin so you would need a little pad underneath if used in a large room with high traffic.
