Exactly as pictured and absolutely perfect for my space. The tassels are thick and neatly braided. The rug base is a little thinner than I expected and the rug fibers could be a bit more dense. My dog has run across this rug, rolled around on it, and ate snacks off of it; the rug shag is intact. It's very sturdy. It did take about 2 days before I could no longer smell the jute.
