Cowhide 10' x 14' Rugs

The Tikkul Solid Black is a statement-making hairon leather patchwork rug with the depth and confidence of a true designer piece. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% genuine hairon cowhide, its mosaic construction creates a rich, dimensional surface that reads as solid black from a distance — yet reveals subtle variation in tone and texture up close, with hints of deep espresso and charcoal woven throughout the field. The result is a rug that anchors a room with quiet authority, whether placed in a modern loft, a moody study, or a high-contrast contemporary living space. Available in both rectangular and round silhouettes, making it as versatile as it is striking. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug firmly in place on any flooring surface.

Set a simplistic, yet chic, foundation in any space with this snow-white area rug. Hand-tufted in India from polyester yarns, this piece features a long 1.75" pile height for a shag look, making it well suited to sit in a bedroom or office where it won’t be worn down. Thanks to this versatile design’s neutral hue, there’s no need to swap this rug out if you switch up your color palette.

This is the softest rug I’ve purchased from Wayfair. It matches the color in photos but does draw a pinkish tent under some light. Nia. Worthington, OH. Tue Aug 04 2026

The Tikkul Ivory is the purest expression of the Tikkul patchwork collection — a serene, all-ivory hairon leather rug with no metallic finish, just the natural warmth and quiet texture of genuine cowhide. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% hairon leather, its mosaic construction creates a barely-there grid pattern that adds subtle dimension without disrupting the calm, monochromatic palette. The result is a rug that disappears into a space in the best possible way, lending softness, warmth, and a sense of refined luxury to any room it anchors. Ideal for bright, airy interiors — Scandinavian, coastal, transitional, or minimalist — where you want the texture of real leather without the visual weight of color or shine. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place.

I purchased 5x8 size. Great quality! Looks high-end. The color palette of this rug is warm tones, not cool tones. Note for reference, the pictures included in this review the chairs have warm toned wood and ivory colored upholstery, and floors are a neutral grey tone. Rug lays flat except for the one edge that was rolled the smallest, but you can put heavy books around edge for two days and it will flatten out. I did not use a rug pad or anti-skid pad since it seems to remain in place with the table and chairs on top of the rug.. Deb. CA. Sun Sep 29 2024

This rug is stunning. The photos on Wayfair don’t do it justice. At first, I thought it was pricey but after it arrived I understood why it cost a bit more. It’s well with it. The colors are earth tones with gray, brown, beige throughout. It’s actually hand tufted with hand sewn cowhide strips. No odors. Laid flat immediately. Nicely packaged by Wayfair. Arrived quickly. Went perfect with my decor.. Robert. Alpharetta, GA. Mon Sep 22 2025

Love the rug. It cleans up nicely. But like all cowhide, the hair wears off so if you don’t like the hairless hide patches that occur as the rug ages, then you won’t like cowhide rugs.. Daryl. Truckee, CA. Tue Jun 02 2026
