I really love this rug. It is a very vibrant shade of dark purple and lilac with very light gray green that matches our lilac walls (not in my photo) perfectly. I have a number of pets who have already attempted to do damage to this rug but have not succeeeded. My only lament is that it doesn’t come in more sizes so I could add more to my house. Do note though that the real size is slightly smaller than the under rug which is Wayfair’s basic under rug so either buy an under rug that is slightly smaller or be prepared to trim it down.. Sarah. LOOOOOOVE! This rug is amazing. It’s super soft and comfy to sit on. We have a toddler so we’re on the ground a lot and this rug has made it easier for play time. We didn’t add a rug pad, and I don’t think it needs one. I was worried that the Ivory would be too bright of a white or too creamy of a yellow and it’s neither. It’s just right for our home. Paired next to a grey couch and dark wood coffee table so help you see better. It didn’t shed at all and laid flat pretty quickly. definitely has a new rug smell but it’s more of just a plasticy smell and it wore off within about 3 days. My family didn’t notice the smell but I have a sharper sense of smell so just for reference. It’s handled stains really well (with Folex, if you don’t have it - get it). Chocolate ice cream has been spilled and red marker and both came up and is unnoticeable surprisingly. It vacuums fine, but use your high carpet setting or low on a Dyson (not boost). I did call and they are sending out the rug I actually ordered. I am now supposed to send back the ‘wrong rug’ even though it was 100% the fault of Wayfair. I have to take it to FedEx in the original package or get a box I was told. Wayfair should send a FedEx truck to my home and pick up this item. I ordered the Ailine Maroon color, and even though the color on the website lighting makes it appear more red wine/burgundy colored, in person, in daylight, the color presents more like a reddish plum and the thread around the perimeter is more brown than maroon. Fortunately, it still goes with the rose-colored fabric of the chair I ordered, which presents as more of a mauve, so the two items still coordinate well together without matching! I got lucky. It's super thin, but since it's going in a sitting room off of my kitchen, I won't need a rug pad. It's very soft! It's a white polyester soft fuzzy fabric, that has a print sublimated over the top of the fabric, so if you run your finger over it and look closely you can tell the design is only on top of the rug and it's not a woven wool rug, but it's not apparent if not looking closely. Way less money than a wool rug would be, too, and easily machine washable, so it has its benefits. I'd definitely buy this rug again, and it fits all my needs and expectations as to the style and quality of rug I was hoping to receive for the price. Perfect rug for our dining room. It’s a bit darker than the photo on the website, especially in the darker green areas. Nonetheless, it’s very nice. The pattern is a little more “pixelated” than in the photo. The photo shows smooth lines of darker greens, but it’s more choppy and boxy.
