Thick, appears well made, feels nice under foot. The color was fairly true to the photos, although in some lighting the background has more of a blue tinge, but in most lighting, it appears more green.. Peggy. Arlington, VA. Sun Jul 20 2025

This lovely hand made rug meets every expectation! The color way is well represented in the on line photos, and the rug reflects the darkerlighter side nape of the hand knotting process. The rug is rich with pattern and color, and soft to the touch. The price point was also excellent! The brown field color is a cooler brown, almost a mushroom color. Very neutral and beautiful! This rug is being used in the reception foyer of a 100 year old Country Club! Perfect!. Mary Jane. Elon, NC. Fri Feb 13 2026

Hand-knotted with flatweave banded ends, our rug shows the individual variation of the weaver at work. Inspired by the upstate New York town of Bovina and designed by local resident and lifestyle editor Newell Turner, this rug brings traditional craft into the current century. It’s a beautiful bit of New Ruralism, a movement that seeks to bring nature and modernity into balance.

A nice chocolate brown rug. Some reviews suggested it had a green undertone, but I disagree. The quality is really nice. It’s very thick and cushiony. Impressed. I would definitely buy it again.. Christine. US. Fri Sep 04 2026

Global interest in the countryside is driving a New Ruralism. The Catskills town of Bovina is ahead of this growing movement, drawing Brooklyn creatives north in search of slower, more natural rhythms of life. Created in collaboration with renowned lifestyle editor Newell Turner, the Clouds Rug is inspired by the Catskills’ wide-open skies, painted in shadow and light. Hand-knotted with a rich luster wash, the rug’s soft sheen illuminates the cloud pattern.

This rug feels so good to the touch! We got this to replace our current rug in the living room but decided we would hold off on doing so until our children were a bit older, you see, they are both under 3 years old and thats just a particularly destructive age. Will report back on usage when we do. Jesica N.. Moseley, VA. Tue Nov 21 2023

Make a statement in your home with this overdyed hand-woven kilim. An intricate design and exquisite coloration make this all wool rug a standout piece for any room. Because of each rug's handmade nature, no two are exactly alike, and quantities are limited. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors. Turn carpet occasionally to equalize wear. Clean spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Use of a rug pad is recommended.
