Hand-knotted in a luxurious blend of wool and silk, this monumental 14x18 rug is a rich new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Textural rug collection, featuring a sophisticated field of deep taupe and brown tones. On the Design:Our textural collection enjoys an inventive take on plain rugs, with this particular design enjoying luminous, gorgeous tones of deep taupe, brown, and soft gray notes that give this large rug its particular beauty. Admirers of the craft will appreciate the subtle, but inventive approach to this simple, neutral, and warm piece with a comfortable presence and highly textured striae, or a “patternless take on pattern” as our Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal likes to refer to the sense of movement these rugs enjoy. Keen eyes for detail will particularly admire that there’s an incredibly subtle, muted sense of geometry in the slightest textural variations at play here, achieved almost exclusively through the variation of chocolate and taupe hues in the weft and nap; a gorgeously intricate element that plays beautifully with the quiet sophistication at the soul of this collection. It’s a versatile choice of cozy color and soft presence, and an elegant, yet comfortable high-end answer to solid rugs that’s cozy in any grand space; a whimsical, yet livable piece, and a luxurious choice among our most creative modern rugs.Custom Capable:All sizes and colors available—inquire for a quote.
