Hand-knotted in wool, this Scandinavian rug is a latest addition to our “High” texture, known for its high-low addition. On the design: Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note the marriage of high-low texture to the geometry and its fabulous sense of dimension—a complement to the movement and presence alike that still sits comfortably in any space—a breath of history and culture for the modern home. The field and geometric patterns feature pastel light blue, beige/brown and off-white accents in kind, that create the playful archaic-meets-modern look between folk art and modern art that defines the early inspirations of this aesthetic. Connoisseurs may admire this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style. Keen eyes for detail will further appreciate the “High” texture of this piece, representing a smart high-low pile adaptation.
