Features

• Color: Blue.
• Origin: East Turkestan Rugs.
• Style: Khotan Rugs.
• Many of the formal elements and design features of this rug have been mellowed by time, which helps to further enhance its theme of timelessness and eternity. Time has transformed this antique East Turkestan rug from its vibrant colors of youth to the subtle softer shades that come with wisdom and age. This more weathered patina is an aspect that can not be recreated, it can only happen with the passage of time. That is why antique rugs are so much more desirable than newly made modern rugs.
• The design of the blue pomegranate Khotan rug centers around an overall pattern that has an understated central focal line. This magnificent worn distressed shabby elegance rug has vertical and horizontal symmetry that is bounded by multiple formal borders. The borders are reminiscent of a garden wall that protects the delicate fruit within. The design of the rug touches the soul in a way that only a fine antique can do.
• This blue pomegranate Khotan rug still has many stories to tell and would make a beautiful addition to almost any interior design approach. It has the antique which is great for traditional decors but it also has a more tribal geometric design which makes it easy to incorporate within more modern interiors as well. This natural and artistic blue colored rug is destined to become an instant cherished family heirloom piece that is sure to be passed down through many generations in the future.
