Genuine Reindeer Hide Rug - 3 x 5 ft

A genuine reindeer hide, tanned whole with the hair left on. The coat is dense and hollow fibred, which is what keeps a reindeer warm through an arctic winter, and it gives the hide a depth and a pale silver to brown colouring that no other skin has. Every hide carries its own markings and outline, so no two are ever the same. It measures roughly 3 by 5 feet and sits well on the floor beside a bed, over a bench or draped on a lounge chair, where the hollow hair will shed a little as it settles. Real reindeer hide rather than a synthetic, it brings a texture and a warmth that a woven rug cannot.
