The Ziegler collection revives the legendary artistry of late 19th-century Persian-style weaving, originally commissioned for the European market to offer a more understated elegance. These rugs are renowned for their sophisticated approach to classic motifs, often utilizing softened color palettes that emphasize the intricate beauty of the hand-knotted process. Collectors highly value the Ziegler style for its ability to balance antique aesthetic sensibilities with the demands of modern interior design. By honoring these historic weaving techniques, each piece serves as a bridge between the regal traditions of the past and the refined, transitional homes of today, offering an enduring sense of character and artistic prestige to any well-appointed living space.
