The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 86.4 inches. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. The shelving unit comes with 2 fixed and 3 adjustable shelves, plus 3 drawers. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability.
