Living up to its nickname as “Golden Fiber,” jute is a staple in organic home decor. Hand-braided in India from natural jute and cotton fibers, their rugs feature a variety of patterns and neutral colors that makes them the perfect base for any room’s design. As soft as they are durable, these rugs are the perfect organic accent to any room’s design.
Features
ECO-FRIENDLY: Sustainably handcrafted from eco-friendly natural fibers, this on-trend classic jute rug is the perfect addition to any room.
HAND MADE: Each rug is handmade and stitched with hand braided fringe where applicable, meaning it’s marked by subtle but individual differences that make your rug unique.
REVERSIBLE: With a flatweave pile, both sides have the same design - doubling the life span of your rug.
EASY CARE: Handmade rugs should be treated more carefully than machine-made rugs due to the artisanal nature in which they are created. Remove any stains immediately by blotting with a clean cloth or sponge. Avoid using water as that might damage and discolor the natural fibers, instead, for tougher stains use a dry rug shampoo or baking soda. For dry debris take the rug outdoors and give it a good shake. Rotate for even wear.
COMPACT SHIPPING: Your rug will arrive factory rolled/folded and may have creases from tight packaging and compression during storage. These normally flatten within 3-7 days. You can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug and massaging the creases with your hands. The backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat.
Customers praise the product's attractive appearance and high quality, noting its natural fibers are comfortable underfoot. The size is frequently mentioned as being perfect for various spaces. However, opinions are mixed regarding the color accuracy, with some finding it darker than pictured, and others experiencing inconsistencies. There are also some concerns about the material's durability and potential for fraying.
