The Antique American Hooked Canada Ivory 1935 Rug is an exceptional North American textile dating back to the Depression era. This hand-hooked wool rug showcases a delightful folk-art sensibility with a sophisticated color palette of ivory, blue, tan, and white. Its composition features a striking central ivory lozenge contrasted by a muted blue border, allowing the intricate floral pattern to surface. Densely populated with stylized bouquets of roses, bellflowers, and berries, this rectangular rug offers a charming, garden-like quality. With a 0.5-inch pile height, this durable piece functions perfectly as a small scatter rug for hallways, bedsides, or powder rooms, providing tactile warmth and authentic 1930s craftsmanship.
