The Antique Quilt America Multicolor 1920s Multicolor Rug is a stunning example of American folk art, blending utility with a sophisticated modernist aesthetic. Crafted in the United States using a needle-punched technique, this square wool rug features a crazy quilt design with irregularly shaped fabric fragments. The non-repeating geometric pattern includes a rich palette of olive, charcoal, rust, and slate blue, accented by striking red blanket stitching. A dramatic central medallion showcases a black silhouette of a walking figure, adding a unique narrative focus. With a 0.5-inch pile height, this highly textural piece functions beautifully as a decorative scatter rug or a compelling wall hanging, capturing the resourceful spirit of early 20th-century textile artistry.
