The Antique Savonnerie French Knotted Rug is a sophisticated wool piece that exemplifies the enduring elegance of early 20th-century French design. Hand-knotted in France circa 1925, this rectangular rug features a dense chocolate brown field that provides a dramatic contrast to its pastel elements. The design showcases intricate rococo-inspired scrolling motifs and bold acanthus scrolls in muted gold and dusty pink. At its center, a detailed bouquet of roses and small blossoms highlights a timeless floral pattern. With a 0.5-inch pile height, this rug offers exceptional texture and depth, making it an ideal accent piece for hallways or intimate spaces. Its historical grandeur and luxurious wool construction make it a refined addition to any home.
