Very satisfied with this gate. I like the the fact that is very wide making placement locations and configurations possible . It's quite tall (I didn't really need that height for my small dogs) but as the gate is not unattractive, that's no problem. Its height makes moving it around easy on the back - no need to bend down. It doesn't scratch the floor (I added felt pads anyway, to help it slide effortlessly on the floor). Very stable, even without the stabilizing feet. Gate arrived with a few tiny 'dings' in the paintwork, but nothing major. Appreciated that it came fully assembled, right out of the box. A quality product that I'd definitely recommend.

I bought two of these to use on the front and back deck stairs. They’re a bit tricky to open until you figure it out. (I find using the opposite hand is the best). But that also makes it really great gate to use with little kids! I however use them to keep my dogs on the deck and they’re working really well. Tall enough to keep my 40-60 dogs from jumping over and sturdy enough that when they put their paws on the gate I don’t worry that it’s going to break. The gate also swings both ways and will stay open on its own, unless there’s a good breeze. They’ve only been up for about two months but so far, so good. If problems arise I will update my review!

I just purchased this to block the open stairs to my basement. My little dog has become more and more blind. She fell all the way down the stairs, so I immediately looked for a remedy to block the open stairs. I am thrilled with this product. This obstruction is sturdy, but easily movable if I need to go down the stairs. I have tried three or four different baby gates, but they have been difficult to install and insecure for people to go through. My walls are different on each side and it makes it difficult for these baby gates to be used. I am really glad for this sturdy and attractive, stair blocker.

I am thrilled to have found this free standing pet gate. Overall, I feel like this gate is an excellent mix of quality size for the price. I have two dogs - lab mix and a golden retriever - whom I adore. BUT! There are several reasons I ended up needing a gate. My lab mix suffers from anxiety. He likes to sit on the bed of the guest room (door on the right) or in the dining room (door on left) and bark incessantly at anyone who deliversdriveswalks by. I can keep doors closed to both rooms but it makes my front hall dark. I had gotten a smaller gate and my daughter (bless her heart) thought it would be cute to teach my lab to jump over it. Sooooo I needed a taller one. I didn’t want to invest 150-300 in a taller gate just to let more light in so I kept the door shut. Fast forward 2 years - my daughter’s bff has a service dog who my anxiety-ridden dog tries to eat every time she walks in the door. So I now had another reason to invest in the gate. It had to be strong enough to withstand my goofy golden retriever as she gets excited and will push on it when she sees her other friend (the service dog). This gate survived the “golden” test of her running into it. I now feel like we have a way for my nutty dog and our service dog to coexist in our home without fear of anyone getting hurt.

This gate is as depicted. It can be configured to hold via pressure in a 32 - 36 opening. It comes with stick on cups to provide more secure anchor points for the 4 adjustable pads on the sides. A few things to be aware of 1) If you have baseboard trim that isnt flat, the bottom feet will have to sit above the baseboard, creating a bar that youll have to step over (ie a trip hazard). 2) If your house has 30 doorways, your doorways are too narrow for the gate. 3) Dont worry about the gate not latching when it comes out of the box. The fine print of the instructions says to crank up the side pressure until the gate is adjusted to latch properly (look for the redlatched versus greenopen markings). My gate latched just fine with the right pressure.

It’s a nice wood gate, and the dimensions are what I was looking for. It’s fairly light too. It doesn’t have any attachments to walls or bannisters, which was what I wanted but I can also see that as a disadvantage. I haven’t used it yet (waiting to use it when I start fostering dogs, to keep them in an enclosed space while I’m gone). It’s only 4 stars because I think a larger dog could move it around or knock it down if not placed correctly.

This gate has been a life saver. We have a 60 lb. German Shorthair Pointer who is petrified of thunder and she runs to the door and tries to get out. The gate is situated between the house and the door and she doesn't try to get out anymore. The gate is tall enough to prevent most dogs from jumping over it, and is built to last. It comes fully assembled and you simply can place it between two walls. The gate is low enough that she can't crawl under it. This gate is rugged! To open the gate, Simply pull back on the gate lock, lift up the gate and push in.

When you have kids, baby gates are a necessity. In my case I have kids and dogs I want to keep isolated to certain areas! While Jax is about to turn two and the dangers are slightly less, I still like to keep him out of certain areas. Now that he is super tall and about to celebrate another birthday, the little monkey has learned to climb! He figured out how to go OVER the gate, even though he never figured out how to unlatch it. When I saw the Extra Tall option for a gate, I knew it was something we had to have! Like our other Dreambaby gate, this one is pressure mounted so you don't do need to do permanent damage to walls for a temporary gate. Once your child is older and you don't feel it's needed anymore you can simply remove it without any damage being done. Since we had another Dreambaby gate up for a couple of years, I know how nice of an option this is! Unlike our old gate, this one has a stay open feature which I love! Sometimes I don't mind Jax wandering the whole house, especially when the dogs are out and I don't have to watch them too! This one can stay open which is perfect for a toddler who you are slowly giving more freedom to. The latch is easy enough to do with one hand and my six and seven year olds can do it but my two year old can not. I was looking for a gate to keep my dogs out of a bedroom and this seems to work well so far. It is an attractive, sturdy gate. I like the fact that it is on hinges which enables you to position the gate a couple of different ways, as needed. This gate comes in two different sizes. I ordered the tall one (36”). Although my dogs are smallmedium height (2530 pounds), I felt more comfortable with the taller gate, although it is significantly more money. One other nice feature about this gate is that should you want or need to add additional width coverage, you can purchase extra panels and just add them onto the side of the existing gate with hinges which will be provided if you order additional panels. I took one star off because there were a couple of small cracks in the wood and it looked like a small portion had been sanded down and touched up with paint. All of this was on the bottom but for the price 124.00, I wasn’t expecting that and was disappointed with the quality. These flaws do not interfere with the performance of the gate however. Also, it would have been nice if the feet and hinges had already been attached. Over all, it is a nice gate, but overpriced.

The height and length of this gate is perfect for keeping out my 23 lb. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from entering a 70 inch open entry into a carpeted reading room where he likes to mark his territory. At first, my little rascal was pushing the gate open when I had the ends pointed outward, so I showed him who's boss by folding the gate ends inward into the room against furniture. If you are wondering about the length, It's important that the gate is set up in a zig zag for stability (vs. a straight away line). It is a heavy solid well made dog gate though. I love that I can easily put it away when company comes. I got the gray, only because white wasn't available, but was very happy with the color when I received it.

Sturdy with a nice looking finish. Heavy enough not to fall over at a bump. Height is good for a medium sized pet (18lb). The door sticks at the threshold - have to lift a little to make it swing more easily across. Now that we've used a bit, might have liked a little wider door, but haven't gotten caught on it yet.

This is great for keeping baby out of trouble, or in my current situation, keeping puppy out! ! There are things and places you don't want them accessing, touching, playing with or coming into contact with at all! But babies and puppies alike are determined and skilled at getting into places they aren't allowed. So what's a mom to do? Meet my new best friend: the 3 in 1 Play Yard from Dreambaby! I really should have invested in one of these seven years ago when I had my first baby. It's one of those items that are pricey and you put on your baby registry and hope you get it but then don't buy for yourself if you don't. In hindsight and after using it for just a week, it would have been so worth the investment! Even having for just my third child, and second puppy; I think it's worth it! I was a little worried about the setup but luckily it comes 90% put together! I had visions of attaching all of these separate pieces but the panels fold in opposite direction to each other so that they can completely collapse for easy storage and transportation. You simply unfold and then stand it up where you want it. As I mentioned we just got a new puppy and wanted her blocked off in the kitchen until she's completely potty trained. This covered the area I needed perfectly! The best feature is the gate! It's a swing close gate so even if the little ones forget to close it; it closes on it's own! You do have the option to push all the way to prop and leave open. I do this when the dog has already gone to the bathroom and can be free for a bit. I close it when she can't. It's an easy squeeze lever to move quickly through the gate but hard enough so that my toddler can't open it on his own. Since this is a temporary situation, we didn't secure to the walls. However, if I had gotten this sooner OR have another baby in the future, I will put it in front of the fireplace and entertainment center area. We already lost one TV to a baby throwing something at it! Included are directions and hardware to secure to the wall. The best part of this is there's a pattern included that you can tape to the wall and install the hardware first instead of trying to guesstimate where exactly the screws go. This will save some extra holes in the wall! The other option for this is to make it a playpen; again perfect for babies and puppies! I think we'll be taking this camping with us. Since Jax is still a toddler he tends to wander off. This is a great option to let him play outside with his siblings without me having to worry if I have to run in the trailer for something. This whole set is top quality and I was really impressed that it could be free standing without having to secure it down. Whether you have a toddler, a newborn or a puppy; this 3 in 1 Play-Yard is a great option to section off areas you don't want them accessing or just to give them their own safe play area. It's one of those things on my "should have gotten this years ago" list!

At first, I was unsure of where I would put two of these gates I received as I already had two (albeit mismatched) gates on our stairs. However upon opening the box and reading through the product details, I was pleased to see that it fit our stairs better than those we had already installed. As such, I decided to replace the current gates so that we would have a matching, better fitting set of gates. I was very impressed with the ease of installing the first gate. It actually took longer to get the already installed gate off than it did to install the new gate. Once I moved on to the second gate, my 2.5 year old was helping build the gate. We installed that one quickly as well (as quick as it can be with a toddler helping)! The latch system involves squeezing a trigger and then using your thumb to slide a switch, which is harder than the previous system we had of thumbing a switch and lifting the gate. This may be a problem for some (like our toddler's grandmother), but this is a good thing for us, since our toddler is quite adept at figuring out things and was close to cracking the previous gate's mechanism. I highly recommend these gates!
