I rescued some baby squirrels that had lost their mother and it was perfect for them until they were old enough to set free. They now live happily in my parents back yard where they have lots of trees and two small ponds. My parents put food out for them to make sure they are eating well and they come to visit whenever my parents out in the yard. They are still wold and don't get too close which is exactly what my parents intended. This is not the first time they have rescued small wild animals and eventually were able to be set free into the wild.. Robert. Oregon. Mon Aug 24 2026

It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Overall it is a nice cage for a ferret. Also some ferrets don't like wooden ramps so you might have to add ramp covers.. Sarah. Port Orange, FL. Sat May 16 2026

Love it. My Guinea pigs, Mia and Emma love it to. I would recommend getting cage guards to contain the mess. My holland lop likes the cage. There is room for his litter box, water, food and hay. It's easy to clean with the pull out tray. He can go in and out by himself with the door open, I like the rollers so I can clean around it easily. I do wish the top rack was 2 or 3 inches wider because when he flips himself to lay down and go to sleep he sometimes falls off. Good quality and price. Overall very satisfied.. Patrica. Cute for ONE rabbit or two dwarfs like mine INDOORS ONLY. My buns gets lots of time to run around the house and intern have the whole day out of their cage. It took my cautious rabbit one whole day to go up the ramp, but this AM I saw him sleeping up there with his wifey. They have their X pen connected to help them get used to it. Think of this hutch as a really cute doll house for your rabbit, that is not meant to go outside. The construction is well made, but it came with 3-4 slightly damaged areas due this being soft wood and being made in China probably. It smells really good too. Like cedar. I will update my review later if my buns start chewing their new home as other reviewers said. Something to note is that the unit really isn't that tall on each level, and the internal dimension of the first "floor" is 19" deep X 32" wide. My buns are potty trained so I can just manage to keep their hay:litter box on the first level under the ramp and then their veggie, pellet, and water bowls are on the other side. Then upstairs I put a cozy fleece blanket down where they pull out tray is. Overall, I would only give this hutch 3 stars due to it being not big enough and being made out of cheaper woods, but it is SO DARN cute and my buns like to sleep in it hence the 4 stars.. Bree. Forest Hills, NY. Sat Apr 30 2016

This is a sturdy, generally well constructed small animal cage. I use it for a guinea pig. I wanted something large enough she could actually move around, high enough that it is easy to feed and interact and on wheels so it is easy to move out of the dining room when having company or when I need to clean. This cage meets all of those criteria. Delivery was quick and efficient. However when I opened the box there were no directions on how to put it together. Looked it up on the internet and YouTube - nothing! So had to improvise. In all it took about an hour and a half to put it together. Not too bad but instructions would have been nice. The one design flaw is that the bottom of the cage is the same wire barsmesh as the rest of the cage and then there is a plastic tray that slides in underneath which would catch litter, hay and droppings. However, my guinea pig didn’t like the wire mesh under her feet and her little feet would fall through the cracks. So I moved the plastic tray inside the cage. Ok, but now she pushes her hay and litter out of the sides and all over the floor. Haven’t quite figured out how to improve this so that we can keep litter and hay inside, not out. Overall, I am mostly pleased with my purchase. I looked a long time for a cage that was larger than most, taller and on wheels and that’s what I got.. Jan. Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA.
