4 stars because: The assembly of the hamster cage was ok, but instructions were not very clear. Also, there was a sticky sap kind of substance on every piece and scraping that off of the plexiglass and wood to even begin assembling took about 45 minutes. However, it is very nice looking and seems sturdy.. Susan. Smiths Station, AL. Wed Oct 14 2026

I think our bunny likes it. It’s very nice and sturdy. It comes with plexy glass covers for the wood, which can keeps things cleaner, but we had to remove them because our bunny couldn’t get any traction.. Anonymous. Tue Jul 21 2026

This animal cage features a metal frame with a wooden ramp and edge barriers. Measuring 27.6"L x 20"W x 55.2"H, the critter nation cage is constructed from solid fir wood and heavy-duty galvanized wire mesh. The five-level design offers ample space for exploration and climbing, and includes a small resting house. It is equipped with a deeper, leak-proof plastic tray that can be pulled out from the front and back and features a lock to prevent escapes. The metal wire mesh top and a visible front door provide good ventilation, allow for easy observation, and facilitate catching pets. This cage is suitable for a variety of small animals including ferrets, chinchillas, rats, squirrels, and sugar gliders, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Overall it is a nice cage for a ferret. Also some ferrets don't like wooden ramps so you might have to add ramp covers.. Sarah. Port Orange, FL. Sat May 16 2026

I rescued some baby squirrels that had lost their mother and it was perfect for them until they were old enough to set free. They now live happily in my parents back yard where they have lots of trees and two small ponds. My parents put food out for them to make sure they are eating well and they come to visit whenever my parents out in the yard. They are still wold and don't get too close which is exactly what my parents intended. This is not the first time they have rescued small wild animals and eventually were able to be set free into the wild.. Robert. Oregon. Mon Aug 24 2026

This rabbit hutch is two floor designed to the better living condition for bunnies. There is a ramp connect the upper floor and lower floor. Your furry friend will fall in love with the rest room and running area. In the field of cleaning, two large slide tray and multiple openable doors will help you a lot. Safeguard lock & rain resistant open roof with a more robust metal hinge for more extended usage. Keep the guinea pig safe and away from predators. Give your pet a warm home.

This hutch has been great for our 4 guinea pigs, they have plenty of room and the unscreened doors offer them a area that helps them feel safe and secure. The included instructions to put the hutch together arent the best but its pretty easy to figure out what piece goes where. The ramps inside of the hutch could pose an issue for some critters because it is a pretty steep incline that you may need to add something extra like peel and stick sand paper or small pieces of wood to offer your critters something they can get traction on. The hutch does have a strong odor in the beginning but it does dissipate over time. The interior is easy to wipe down and clean and the removable drawer floors on both levels make it easy to just pull out the drawer and dump in a trash bag. Bedding can be added to the inside and not much makes it through the screens onto the floor.. Elizabeth. Glen Burnie, MD. Tue Sep 15 2026

100% UV-proof roof protects the rabbit, and bunny, from UV & rain, and enjoy the sunlight.

Excellent indoor setup for my hedgehog. This is easy to clean and maintain, and provides a great variety of spaces for them -- open in the main area, the ramp and second level for some enrichment, and the closed spot when they want to sleep. Perfect for a hedgehog, since they're nocturnal. PSA: If you purchase this for a hedgehog, plan on adding some kind of barrier to the ramp edge and the edge of the second level, since they have bad eyesight. I've been using this for a year and have also had to move it once and it held up well.. Gk. Maine. Wed Mar 20 2024
