I have the small one, which fits my 6.9 lb cat, but I do think she could use more room, so I lucked out and found this large one (it seems to be sold out everywhere!). She loves to use the bottom of the small one as a bed and it helped immensely when we had to take her to the vet. There’s not a huge difference between the sizes but enough to help. I docked one star because of the state of the box when it arrived. I’m surprised the product wasn’t damaged. This is my absolute favorite carrier and I hope to train my cat to be attached to the lead in the carrier with a harness so we can get her more used to being in the car, hopefully with the front panel on the carrier open. If it becomes available again I would highly recommend it but only for smaller animals.. Carrie. Utah. Sun Jun 14 2026

This soft-sided folding dog carrier / cat carrier is designed to enhance your travel experience. It incorporates ultra streamlined designs with modern styling details and advanced functionality

I had difficulty finding a pet carrier that was within the small measurements established by one of the airlines . . . not within the contiguous 48 states. The Dome, though not one of the "approved" airline pet carriers, had acceptable measurements which allowed me to put my two small dogs into the same carrier, rather than into two carriers. It was a lifesaver. The airline didn't ask if the carrier was "airline approved," they just wanted it to fit under the seat in front of me, and it did. My only complaint with The Dome is that, unlike its promotional photo, it does NOT stand upright unless it is fully zippered shut. I would have preferred that one or both of the dogs could have used The Dome as a day bed when not traveling.. Keith. Palm Springs, CA. Sat Aug 16 2014
