Easy to put together if you follow the directions, but there are A LOT of parts. Great storage and space for our bearded dragon. We love this unit, it is gorgeous. Our bearded dragon is very happy. Not sure why the reviews are mixed/bad. It is very big so if placed on a small space it might look awkward. We love that the Bearder dragon has a lot of space to move around. I will suggest to the company instead of wood in the back to add glass or plexiglass, I will upgrade it later, I thought of it after putting together. To put this terrium together was simple and easy. This terrium is the perfect size for my son's leopard geckos. The only thing I did was buy some adhesive handles to aid is opening the glass doors. VERY easy to put together and exactly what I was looking for. They are solid, have glass doors, which is a huge plus for those critters that will scratch up plexiglass. I bought 4 of these and might be back for 2 more before the price increases. I actually attached 2 of them together for my Ackie monitor and she absolutely loves it. I built them separately but cut a passthrough hole in 2 of the side pieces where they would be connected. Screwed them together and used silicone to seal it before painting the inside of the enclosure. I also added a piece of wood to the inside where the bottom metal screen is to make a high substrate barrier. This gave her a 62x15x15 enclosure for a LOT less than other options out there! Also, I am able to get away with a 25w halogen lamp for basking!!!! That in itself is absolutely amazing! We went down from a 150w light in her previous enclosure. It's easy to install lighting inside, just be aware of your temperatures, wattage, etc. Always use cage guards to protect your critters, ceramic bulb bases and it's always a good idea to use a heat shield. For my basking light I used the Arcadia Reptile clamp lamp which comes with a bulb cage guard and different mounting options. I also have a LED UVB strip light on the basking side and a basic non UVB LED strip light on the far right side of the enclosure. The large and heavy package arrived with in 3 days of ordering. All parts were without damage. Assembly was simple enough. About 45 minutes one person. It looks better than the pictures.
