Overall what we expected from the price.. good for 4-6 max hens as described, however, would not trust construction with a big rooster due to quality and thickness of panels. Easy assembly, good instructions, all parts intact, good packaging.. Tom. Kerrville, TX. Thu May 21 2026

Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Hopefully they will use it this winter. I covered the run to keep too much sun and rain off them. It's also connected to 2 other large runs. Vickie. Silver Springs, NV. Tue Oct 06 2026

Upgrade your backyard with this mobile 4-hen coop. Featuring 1.38" thick wood, wide metal wheels, and an easy-clean PVC liner, it offers a secure, durable, and fresh-air habitat for your flock.

Went together very easily. Also easy to move around. I am using it for my chicks until they are big enough to go with my hens. Currently have 6 8-week old chicks in there and it’s a bit crowded. Be mindful if getting for large hens. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the sliding door above where the ramp is (outside of the enclosed run) has no hardware cloth on it at all, and no lock to make sure it stays shut.. Anonymous. Great coop for the price! Bought this as a starter coop and it surpassed my expectations. Easy to assemble - as other reviewers stated, the wood is thin and prone to splitting. Slow and steady when tightening the screws is key. The removable tray for cleaning is a plus. Wheels are great for moving it around. I painted it to match the house!. Kimberly. Traverse City, MI. Easy to put together, parts are labeled, directions good. I only had to redo the hinges on lid, placing them somewhat higher than I had them in order for lid to close properly. Added an automatic door, the coop is spacious for my five hens, the roosting bars stay seated. I stapled two layers of strong plastic to roof for easy cleaning as they like to sit up there. The only part a little tricky was placement of the hinge on the left for roof, I wish the screw holes were marked better. I also set the coop on patio stones to protect the fir legs, the hens go under there sometimes.. Virginia. Tue Sep 15 2026

I have 4 chickens. I think they are going to fit in this coop perfectly. I feel like the number of chickens a coop will fit is so often overestimate but this one is spot on. Building it wasn't hard at all. Two down sides. It had a strong chemical smell but I left it out for a few days and it's gone. Also, a couple of places a screw cracked the wood. Overall, super sturdy coop that I'd definitely get again.. Dawn. Clinton Township, MI. Wed Apr 01 2026

It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. Didn't use the wheels as I am going to put it in one place and not move it around. To use as a tractor would definitely not be big enough for 4 chickens. I made quite a few modifications to make this coop more useful. I used strong magnets across the top so we could reach into the run. We added stair tread to the roost ramp so our ladies didn’t slip around anymore. I’d planned to use a solar door opener to let the gals in and out, but I was one day over the 30 day return window and Wayfair wouldn’t let me return it even for store credit. It didn’t fit despite the online specifications saying it would.. Ashley. US. Tue Aug 11 2026
