This cage is large and durable. Assembly was a bit complicated as a few pieces were mislabeled, but after process of elimination I was able to figure it out. You’ll definitely need someone to help you with the way the screws and nuts are placed. For a bird cage it’s different in the sense that it’s a chicken wire pattern rather than vertical bars, and it doesn’t have built in food and water doors. Overall, it’s a fairly decent cage.. The sufficiently large size and the skylight design will give your birds a more cozy and comfortable home. My bird loves this tall cage fir hes swing and high areas. I like it because its light and i can hold it and walk through doors and set in shower stall for easy clean up. I do buy a new cage once a year due to cleaning the coating wears off. I wouldnt recommend this cage for larger birds. This is perfect for the Senegal, Sunfire maybe Quakers but if you have an animal thats prone to bitting and bending bars or trying to get out this may not be the cage for you. The metal is easily bendable however my parrot uses it like a safe place, shelter and hes outside of it just as much as hes inside of it. Fortunately I dont have an escape artist or a bar bitter. if you have someone similar youll love this cage. I woke him up to take a picture he wasnt a happy camper hes hiding in the top arch area.. Really great cage after custom fitting it out the perch placement(made some from dowels), food&water, and toys. Also, it was big enough for me to get two new parakeets (4 in all) which makes for a lot of busy antics and chatter (which I luv). Was concerned bars mite be too wide for for smaller birds, but it's perfect. Large front door makes cage/food change very easy. Haven't tried the open yet.... Susan. Massachusetts. Sat Jan 23 2021

I purchased this as a travel cage for my Yellow Nape Amazon. I took a chance on the size since I couldn't find any reviews mentioning a larger parrot. The instructions just show a photo of the pieces and how they go together. It wasn't too difficult but needed to be tightened up at the joins. Anyone having a parrot knows how quickly they can learn to open the doors and food spaces. This cage has "pins" holding in the food dishes. Word to the wise, remember to purchase locks to secure the doors! For the price, this is a well constructed cage designed more for conures, cockateils and parakeets. It will for work for my Yellow Nape but only for travel. The only negative I can think of is the wooden dowel perches are not long enough and can easily fall off. Especially with the weight of my Rico. Smaller birds may not have this issue. I prefer the rope or natural wood perches for comfort.. Joan. Philadelphia, PA. Tue Oct 02 2018

Fabulous cage, but just like many of the other reviews (which I read before purchasing), my cage and it's components also came bent. That was slightly disappointing, considering how much it costs. However, the metal is bendable, so I was able to straighten the legs and one bowl holder that arrived bent. The legs of the stand now look normal, but the bowl holder doesn't look 100%, although I was able to make it fit the bowl. Otherwise, the cage looks great. It was easy to assemble, other than it was very difficult to put on three of the wheels bc those legs were bent. I ended using a cloth and a hammer to get those in place. I'd recommend it, but know that parts will arrive bent.. Amanda. Florida. Tue Jul 11 2017

My bird has always been fussy, oops, I mean spoiled and not accepting new toys or anything, but he took to this cage right away. Can't remember when I bought it, but I was so relieved. I had spet money on one like his old one and he was never confortable, the perches were not tight so they would add ometime slide when he tried yo get on them. Feels like I threw money out yhe window, because they eventually get damaged, I am sure I will need another.... Patricia. Kissimmee, FL. Wed Jun 06 2018
