This cage is large and durable. Assembly was a bit complicated as a few pieces were mislabeled, but after process of elimination I was able to figure it out. You’ll definitely need someone to help you with the way the screws and nuts are placed. For a bird cage it’s different in the sense that it’s a chicken wire pattern rather than vertical bars, and it doesn’t have built in food and water doors. Overall, it’s a fairly decent cage.. My bird loves this tall cage fir hes swing and high areas. I like it because its light and i can hold it and walk through doors and set in shower stall for easy clean up. I do buy a new cage once a year due to cleaning the coating wears off. I wouldnt recommend this cage for larger birds. This is perfect for the Senegal, Sunfire maybe Quakers but if you have an animal thats prone to bitting and bending bars or trying to get out this may not be the cage for you. The metal is easily bendable however my parrot uses it like a safe place, shelter and hes outside of it just as much as hes inside of it. Fabulous cage, but just like many of the other reviews (which I read before purchasing), my cage and it's components also came bent. That was slightly disappointing, considering how much it costs. However, the metal is bendable, so I was able to straighten the legs and one bowl holder that arrived bent. The legs of the stand now look normal, but the bowl holder doesn't look 100%, although I was able to make it fit the bowl. Otherwise, the cage looks great. It was easy to assemble, other than it was very difficult to put on three of the wheels bc those legs were bent. I ended using a cloth and a hammer to get those in place.
