This cage is large and durable. Assembly was a bit complicated as a few pieces were mislabeled, but after process of elimination I was able to figure it out. You’ll definitely need someone to help you with the way the screws and nuts are placed. For a bird cage it’s different in the sense that it’s a chicken wire pattern rather than vertical bars, and it doesn’t have built in food and water doors. Overall, it’s a fairly decent cage.. I love this bird cage! I was able to assemble on my own until lifting the cage to assemble to the base. The instructions were wrong in stating that the short screws serial were required to attach. Use the long screws. The other flaw was that on the Allen wrench the short end should have the screw driver as it was near impossible to use what was provided. From past experience I saved the box it was packed in right til completion and top finnial was missing!! Very disappointed but will find something else to put on top.
