This is a very pretty alternative to the traditional metal dog crate. It arrived in perfect condition (no chipped corners or dings, that others mentioned) and my husband had it together in less than an hour. It does have a yellowish tinge to it(not as white as the photos suggest), but we were ok with it. Our 50lb hound/shepherd mix puppy has ample space to stand and stretch out. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because, I think with a little time and boredom, she would easily be able to chew or dig her way out of this. We are using it only as a sleeping crate in our bedroom, so I am not worried about that. But I wouldn't put her in this and then leave the house. This dog crate looks really nice. It wasnt too bad to assemble, just took some effort to get things lined up. I am sure with 2 people it would go a lot more smoothly. Some of the pieces dont feel very sturdy, like they almost broke when I was assembling. Altogether, it seems sturdy enough, but the white pieces could stand to be stronger material. I really love this piece, it is overall very sturdy and its beautiful. My only complaint is the putting the backing on. I took my time building everything to ensure everything was built to the best it could be. The backing punctured through the wood in spots where it was too thin.
